7 Days 6 Nights Tour from Marrakech to Bounou

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Agdz - Tamnougalt
Arrival in Marrakech, one of our team will meet you quite early at your accommodation. The drive take you from the red city of Marrakech, across the plains and up through the High Atlas Mountains to cross the pass of Tizi n´Tichka at 2260 m. Descending from the High Atlas you will reach Ouarzazate: the Hollywood of Africa and the door to the desert. Your journey takes you across the Anti Atlas and down to the Draa Valley through Agdz and to the Kasbah of Tamnougalt where you will spend the night with half board.

Day 2: Tamnougalt - Dar Sidi Bounou
After a hearty breakfast and a short walk around the Ksar you will continue the journey south, passing through adobe villages that line the banks of the Draa River and the oasis all the way to the desert. Zagora, Tamagroute and Tagounite are some of the towns on your route, and Ouled Driss is the last kasbah village before you reach Dar Sidi Bounou where you will spend the night with half board.

Day 2: Dar Sidi Bounou - Camel ride to Erg L´houidi - Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, the camels will arrive and you will go for a 2 to 3 hour camel trek to Erg L´houidi where you will be served traditional Moroccan tea and have a lunch break in a bivouac. From there the 4x4 will pick you up to drive you to Erg Chegaga where you will arrive at the Berber desert camp. In the evening there will be dinner and drumming music around the campfire and you will sleep in a Berber tent under the stars: an unforgettable experience.

Day 4: Chegaga - Foum Zguid - Taznakht
After breakfast, your driver and 4x4 will be waiting to take you on the next part of your adventure. Your journey today takes you by the dry lake of Iriki, through Foum Zguid and the desert towns and villages to reach Taznakht: well-known for its particular style of carpet design.

Day 5: Taznakht - Taliouine - Taroudant - Agadir
Today the tour takes you across different landscapes from Taznakht to the saffron region of Taliouine and the medina of Taroudant: often called Small Marrakech. Our journey for today ends on the Atlantic Coast and the seaside resort of Agadir where you will spend the night with half board.

Day 6: Agadir - Essaouira
After breakfast your driver will take you along the Atlantic seaboard to the charming coastal medina of Essaouira where you can enjoy its unique atmosphere and excellent seafood. Stroll around the pretty blue and white medina and discover the excellent artwork and artisan products in the narrow streets.

Day 7: Essaouira - Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy some time discovering more of this delightful medina, its fishing port and sandy beach before the drive to Marrakech.
