Five Days Four Nights from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert. Cross the High Atlas to discover the Draa Valley all the way to the Desert Dunes with a camel ride and overnight camp.

Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ouarzazate
Arrival in Marrakech, one of our team will meet you quite early at your accommodation. The drive take you from the red city of Marrakech, across the plains and up through the High Atlas Mountains to cross the pass of Tizi n´Tichka at 2260 m. Descending from the High Atlas you will reach Ouarzazate: the Hollywood of Africa and the door to the desert where you will spend the night with half board.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora - M´hamid
After breakfast your journey takes you across the Anti Atlas and down to the Draa Valley through Agdz, Zagora, the towns of Tamagroute and Tagounite until you reach Ouled Driss and finally Dar Sidi Bounou where you will spend the night with half board.
Day 3: M´hamid - Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, you will leave the accommodation and continue to M´hamid el Ghizlane, 4 km away; it is the last town before the tarred road disappears into the desert sands. The tour then goes off road to the dunes and on the way the vehicle is exchanged for the sure footed camel that will take you for a 2 to 3 hour camel ride, lunch will be in a bivouac after which a 4x4 will take you to your Nomadic desert camp in the dunes of Chegaga. The evening will include traditional entertainment and hospitality with dinner and music under the stars.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga - Foum Zguid - Taznakht
After breakfast, your driver and 4x4 will be waiting to take you on the next part of your adventure. Your journey today takes you by the dry lake of Iriki, through Foum Zguid and the desert towns and villages to reach Taznakht: well-known for its particular style of carpet design.

Day 5: Taznakht - Marrakech
After breakfast you will make the return drive to Marrakech across the Anti Atlas and High Atlas Mountains to the plains of Al Haouz and the ancient medina of Marrakech by the evening.
